About the Event:  Join AARP Vermont and housing expert, Lina Menard, for an online Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) workshop designed for homeowners considering a backyard cottage or in‑law suite.  You’ll learn how ADUs can generate supplemental income, support aging in place, and create flexible housing for family or caregivers. We’ll share real Vermont examples, explain current regulations, and answer your questions on zoning, design, and financing. Participants will also receive a practical checklist to help plan an ADU that fits their needs and long‑term goals.
