AOT seeking public input
The Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) is seeking public input for the 2026 AOT Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan that identifies physical barriers within AOT’s facilities, describes methods to make programs more accessible, and includes a schedule by which the improvements are to be made within the pedestrian right of way.
In ongoing efforts to improve and enhance accessibility within the pedestrian right of way, AOT is actively seeking the input of the public at large and particularly from individuals and community groups that represent people with disabilities to ensure that the Agency is meeting the needs of people with disabilities.
Members of the public may participate in two ways: submit comments via an online form, and/or attend a public meeting.
The public comment period is from March 9-30, 2026.
Two 90-minute meetings will be held on May 20th, at 2 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. at the Dill Building, Conference Room A, 2178 Airport Rd Unit B, Barre, VT 05641.

AOT is committed to ensuring accessibility and digital accessibility for all. If you need language assistance, reasonable accommodation, or alternative format for the meeting, please email AOT.CRADA@vermont.gov.
