School Budget Ballots Available

Absentee ballots for the school budget re-vote are now available at the town hall, and may be picked up on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. An immediate family member, caregiver, or health professional may sign a ballot out for a registered voter. A ballot may be mailed with authorization.

The outdoor ballot box will be unlocked as of Monday April 13, 2026, for depositing them, or they may be handed to the town clerk or assistant town clerk, or may be brought to the town hall on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The ballot envelope must be signed by the voter so we know who to check off on the voter list.

Be sure to register to vote if you haven’t already…go to https://sos.vermont.gov/elections/voters/registration, or come to the town hall for a paper registration form…bring proper id. You may register the day of any election as long as it is completed prior to close of polls.

Visit the Central Vermont Supervisory Union website for budget details. https://www.cvsu.org/

These ballots, while for the Echo Valley school district, are for Washington registered voters only.

The Town of Orange has its own ballots for their residents.
