Request for Bids – Surplus Tanker Truck

The Washington Volunteer Fire Department is currently accepting sealed bids for the purchase of a surplus fire department tanker truck. Vehicle details are as follows:

  • Year/Make/Model: 1991 International 4800 4x4 Tank Truck

  • Mileage: 46,075 miles

  • Engine Hours: 5,163 hours

  • Engine: DT 466 Diesel

  • Transmission: Spicer 6-speed manual

  • Tank: 1,400-gallon stainless steel tank

  • Emergency lighting and equipment: Not included

This vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied.

The truck may be viewed in person at the Washington Volunteer Fire Department, located at 51 Firehouse Lane, Washington, Vermont, during regular department hours:
Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
