Grader Fire Prompts Neighborly Assistance

On May 28, 2025, our road foreman, Stuart Coburn, was extremely quick and lucky to escape this fire that engulfed the Washington town’s grader as he was working it.

We send heartfelt thank yous to the grader operators who immediately came to Washington to finish the grading: Williamstown’s Chris Wade, and Orange’s Matthew Wadsworth.
