2025 SAMPLE Town Meeting Ballot

This sample ballot may not be printed and used. Absentee ballots may be requested through the town clerk’s office. 1-802-883-2218, or washingtontownclerk@gmail.com. Ballots will not be sent by email. If you need someone to bring a ballot to your home, two Justices of the Peace will bring you one on town meeting day, March 4, 2025. If there are not enough available JPs, then at least two election officers will be sent in their place. All requests must be made by 4 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, 17 V.S.A. § 2531 (a).

If you vote for more than the number of available slots per position, then none of your votes will be counted for that position, as it would not be up to the ballot counters to determine which person should receive your vote.
